1. Never leave home "starving." Even if you are rushed off your feet. Grab a smoothie. They're quick and easy and pack a punch!

3. Don't be tempted by treats. Store them out of sight. You are less likely to grab a high calorie snack if you can't see them.

6. Think before you drink. Alcohol adds lots of calories, but no nutrients. Also, it weakens your willpower to avoid the wrong food choices. Hangovers can cause wicked cravings for fatty or high carbohydrate foods that can sabotage any attempt at weight loss

Drinking water, even if it's a glass or two to start with will definitely help your weight loss plan .
