Child Weight Loss and Obesity

Childhood obesity has reached epidemic levels. Experts estimate that 15%  of  children  are overweight and another 15% are at risk of becoming overweight. Two thirds of these overweight children will become overweight adults. Learn to prevent obesity and help your children stay at a more healthy weight.

The cause of obesity in children is due to  consuming too  many calories  and not enough physical activity.

A diet high in fat, sugar  and processed food will also contribute to overweight.

Preventative measures to take are eating a healthy diet  with plenty of grains, vegetables,  fruit,  drinking water  instead of sugary drinks, avoiding foods high in fats and plenty of  physical activity.

These healthy guidelines should be followed by adults as well if you want to have a healthy body and a healthy mind.

To your health
