Health Tip of the Day

When keeping a food journal remember to write down everything you eat including small bites of anything. Record your mood, how you are feeling, and be as specific as possible. Keep your food journal handy during the day to record everything you eat as soon as possible.

After a while you will see a pattern emerging and be able to tackle that specific trigger. It could be real hunger, and in that case great! You've identified why you're eating. Then again, it could be sheer boredom that leads you to eat. So STOP, and THINK. Why am I eating? Write it down.

Keeping track of you and your health,

Joyce Hearn
