A study at Duke University Medical Center found that walking increases brain chemicals serotonin and norepinephrine. These chemicals have been found to make you feel happy and lead to greater mental clarity.
Walking has so many other benefits as well. It's easy to do. It doesn't cost you anything and it's low impact. So you are not going to get sore knees, ankles etc; unless you trip and fall that is. :-)
If you can't manage to get in 30mins a day, then just do 15. Come on, don't you want to feel better and more alive? Go for it!
