The Six Basic Weight Training Exercises

You can do these exercises using barbells, dumbbells or any weighted object like water bottles or cans of food.....you get the drift.

1. Squat: This exercise primarily firms and builds the upper thigh area and butt.

2. Dead lift / Rowing : Works all the back muscles.

3. Bench Press: For your chest . If you don't have a bench use a Swiss Ball or the floor.

4. Military / Shoulder Press: This works your shoulders

5. Barbell / Dumbbell Curl: Works your biceps / upper arms

6. Tricep Extension: Works the back of your arms. Very useful exercise for women.
