Reduce Fat to Lose Weight
Include plenty of fruit and vegetables in your diet.
Get into the habit of using good fats like olive oil, canola or sunflower. But remember to use them sparingly.
Make the change from full cream milk to skim milk.
Use low fat yoghurts.
Choose medium - low fat cheeses (Edam, cottage or ricotta cheese.)
Include poultry, fish or lean red meat in your meals.
Always cut any visible fat off the meat before cooking. Most of the fat in chicken is under the skin. Take the skin off .
Instead of frying, try steaming, poaching, grilling or baking food.
