Fast Food: Healthier Options



We all seem to be in a hurry these days. Unfortunately for some people this means no time to prepare healthy meals at home. Just because you live your life in the fast lane doesn't mean that your diet has to consist of unhealthy take away meals every day. On the occasion when you just have to drive through a fast food chain, you can still choose healthy alternatives. They are available these days, so no excuse! :-)

The first two ways to cut down on fat and calories is by ordering salads or grilled instead of fried food. If you're not in the mood for crisp salad, try grilled chicken burgers without the cheese and mayo.

There is always the fresh option of Subway sandwiches with under 6g of fat at a very reasonable price. So *think* before you order if you are trying to lose weight or stay healthy.

If you really can't resist the temptation, then go for the kids size meal. You'll satisfy your craving and won't blow your diet.
